I really don’t have one. I don’t think its one of those things that actually matter in the big scheme of things.
If we were all created then big whoop. If we evolved then big whoop again.
Still if I had to pick I’d go for evolution for two reasons. I know for a fact that cells do have mutations that allow them to perform differently and I’d like to think that there will eventually be a bigger better version of me in a couple of million years (hopefully with six fingers and the ability to move stuff with my mind)

Considering the notion that this evolution vs. creationism conflict has existed as long as science has, a few opinions here will not really solve it with a definite verdict.
KTDP has a valid, yet unrealistic, point. Yes, mutations do exist, and yes they will create sufficient genetic diversity to allow for a drastic change, BUT the time scale we are talking about is nowhere near the achievement of such an event.
Allow me to explain. Polydactyly already exists as a recessive mutation that causes an abnormal normal of digits to develop in fetuses. The developmental pathway, I believe, is due to an overexpression of a certain protein. It could be due to a mutation that basically alters the regulatory mechanism dealing with the development of limbs, thereby allowing an excess of digits to develop uncontrollably.
Telekinesis is highly unlikely. To be able to perform such a task would require an individual to have what may be referred to as super-neurons that would electromagnetic capabilities. Highly unlikely! We can barely deal with alzheimers and parkinson’s and MS. If such neuronal networks existed, we could harness them to alleviate such neurodegenerative diseases.
There are certain aspects to Evolution that seem to give it credibility, others negate it. But I wont go into the debate. I’ve had months and months of this debate with individuals that actually contribute to the policies that enforce the teachings of evolution and creationism.
I will say this, though — the human genome, which consists of 30 billion base pairs only accounts for 20,000 genes. Those constitute only 10% of the genome. The rest is repetitive DNA. Now, based on the theory that its very rare and highly unlikely for one gene to account for one protein (There are some that do), polygenic inheritance is the mode of inheritance. So in those 20,000 genes, the phenotypes they express must be a copntribution of more than one gene. Mutations usually occur at 1/1000 base pairs, according to the proteomics and enzyme kinetics of the polymerases responsible. (The proteins/enzymes that synthesize DNA/RNA/Protein)
So for such form changing events as those like telekenesis (If we deem it even remotely possible) you would need thousands and thousands of mutations. This translates into a VERY long time (chronologically speaking).
This is taking too long! Just consider this: The irreducibility of the complex structure of the eye (which is the only structure in the human body that has no DNA repair mechanisms) can in no way be explained by any of the derived theories of evolution! Look up it up.

hmmmm..
as a person who believes in god, I have this opinion:
the material universe we live in undergoes some stirct physical/chemical laws. any change in these plans would most probably screw things up..
So whenever a superior force (god) commands something, it has to be translated into the “ordinary universal language”
I’m gonna use the computer analogy and i hope you get what i mean ..
when you press the ENTER button, your laptop/PC won’t get what the word ENTER is!, becuase this button is translated into a series of 1s and 0s in order to be understood inside the computer world, computers would then process your command and voila, you get what you wanted ..
I’m thinking of creation as the same thing. When i stare at my window and look at all trees outside, what i know for sure is that these creatures were created by god , but they didn’t grow overnight..there was a combination of water, soil, right weather..etc
In other word, whatever god wants shall be done, only according the natural laws of this planet ..sure god is capable of everything..but until judgment day, the balance and natural order of things must be maintained in this universe.
think of many other examples, birth, death ..
So these two concepts (evolution and
creationism) might be somewhat intertwined .
If you believe in god, of course you would think that god created everything on this planet, however, the way he created those things is ambiguous for us ..
and to understand it right, we also need to understad how god is ..but that’s something beyond us ..
